ECIM in Serbia: Dedicated to Mirko Beljanski
European Congress for Integrative Medicine (ECIM)
Today, I am extremely proud to announce that the 7th European Congress for Integrative Medicine (ECIM), which will be held for the first time in Belgrade, Serbia, will be dedicated to the memory of my father, Dr. Mirko Beljanski.
Held in Belgrade on October 10-11, 2014, ECIM will gather with the 12th Biennial International Symposium on the Bi-Digital O-Ring Test (BIDORT) and 1st Serbian Congress for Integrative Medicine.
The ECIM Congress is an international event organized by the Serbian Association for Integrative Medicine as a member and part of ESIM with strategic support of Serbian Medical Society, Serbian Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Local Medical Association, the Regional Health Authority. The meeting enjoys the patronage of many Serbian and International bodies and institutions, Serbian Universities, including the Charité University of Berlin, Germany.
Born in 1923 in Serbia (former Yugoslavia), Mirko Beljanski emigrated to France after the war in order to complete his PhD. in Molecular Biology at the Sorbonne in Paris France, before joining the Pasteur Institute.
Even if most of his career was spent as a researcher in Paris, his relationship with his native country always remained strong throughout his life. I am sure that he would have been deeply moved and honored to receive such a token of appreciation.
The purpose of the ECIM Congress is the promotion of integrated and sustainable treatment for acute and chronic disease. Main topics will be the efficiency of Complementary Medicine, its integration within classic medicine and Integrative Medicine future development. Models and guidelines for the integration and the development of Complementary medicine within the European and international healthcare systems will also be at the cornerstone of the discussions.
This purpose is perfectly aligned with the life work of Mirko Beljanski and of his main discoveries, as he dedicated his life showing how environmental toxins affect cumulatively our DNA, inducing many chronic disease, immune disease and cancer. Mirko Beljanski left a body of 133 peer reviewed publications as well as several books, in French and in English.
With the generous international support (special thanks the French organization CIRIS, and to The Beljanski Foundation in New York) several prestigious American institutions have recently confirmed the value of the natural extracts perfected by Mirko Beljanski as a natural way to fight back, and several books have been recently published about his amazing life and scientific achievements. A short movie has also been made on the topic of Beljanski’s life.
Once again, I would like to thank Professor Momir Dunjić, President of Serbian Association of Integrative Medicine, and Professor Slaviša Stanišić, Vice President of Serbian Association of Integrative Medicine, as well as their team, for choosing to honor, in such a splendid way the work and the memory of Mirko Beljanski.
We hope to see you at this event. Deadline for reduced participant registration fee is June 30, 2014.
