Dr Ralph Moss and Mirko Beljanski
It is my great pleasure and honor to announce that Dr Ralph Moss has dedicated a column in the current issue of his “Cancer Decisions” newsletter to Mirko Beljanski, PhD, and to the achievements of The Beljanski Foundation while carrying on Dr Beljanski’s legacy.
Setting aside all controversy, Dr. Moss reports on the many recent scientific and clinical studies published by several prestigious universities on prostate, ovarian and pancreatic cancers, all of which validate Dr Beljanski’s work and its natural and selective approach.
Dr. Moss has written or edited twelve books (such as Antioxidants Against Cancer, Cancer Therapy, Questioning Chemotherapy, and The Cancer Industry), and produced three documentary films including the award-winning PBS documentary, The Cancer War, relating to questions on cancer research and treatment.
He also wrote the first article on Alternative Medicine for The Encyclopedia Britannica Yearbook and the first article on Complementary Cancer Treatments for Courtroom Medicine: Cancer, a medico-legal textbook.
His articles and scientific communications have appeared in such journals as The Lancet, Journal of the National Cancer Institute, Journal of the American Medical Association, New Scientist, Anticancer Research, Genetic Engineering News, Research in Complementary Medicine (Karger), Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, and Integrative Cancer Therapies (SAGE), of which he is Corresponding Editor.
For many years he has written the monthly “War on Cancer” column for the Townsend Letter for doctors and patients. His op-ed “Patents Over Patients” appeared in The New York Times in 2007.
Moss was a founding advisor to the National Institutes of Health (“NIH”) Office of Alternative Medicine (now the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, NCCAM) and to the NIH Cancer Advisory Panel on Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
In 2005 Dr. Moss led the “History of Science Seminar” at the National Institutes of Health National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, MD. He has also received lifetime achievement awards from the American College for the Advancement of Medicine, Cancer Control Society, National Foundation for Alternative Medicine, and Center for Advancement in Cancer Education.
His most recent book is Customized Cancer Treatment, on chemo-sensitivity and personalized cancer treatments. His movie, Second Opinion, premiering in New York on Friday August 29th is not to be missed. I’ll be there – hope you will also.
