Family Jewels
Gut bacteria support for digestion and the immune system is already well-known and well-documented. More recent research indicates that the male reproductive system (e.g. seminal fluid) contains its own bacteria or microbiome that may affect adult onset of disease in a man’s offspring. Of course, the microbiome in the male reproductive tract affects the man’s health as well; the presence of certain bacteria in the seminal fluid microbiome promotes conditions like prostatitis that can lead to prostate cancer.(1)
It has been well documented that the future health of offspring is influenced by the health condition of the male parent. Paternal obesity in mice has been linked to various health effects in the first generation offspring, such as obesity, cardiovascular and reproductive disorders. Similar effects have been noted in humans but the mechanism of this transmission to the offspring has yet to be identified. It now looks like the microbiome of the male reproductive system may be the mechanism.
Appropriate detoxification of the gut to remove polyamines, parasites and heavy metals and promote a healthy microbiome, may actually take you – and your family – a long way.
Moreover, since Pao pereira as well as Rauwolfia vomitoria compete with polyamines for the same DNA sites, gut detoxification and purification will only enhance the activity of the plant extracts.
